Audubon Park Bird Island

It was a beautiful day in Audubon Park, New Orleans. Audbuon Park is named after John James Audubon, the American ornithologist and painter. The park is in the middle of the city of New Orleans, and is a destination for thousands of migrating birds every year, as they spend the winter in the warmer climate of Louisiana. This is my first attempt at Aerochrome, and I brought it specifically for Audubon Park. I knew all the dark green oak leaves and the blue water would turn out well for this film.

@troch thank you! I tried to gather as much advice from logographic users as possible. I followed the IR markings on my lens, and bracketed my shots. I tried to shoot in very bright sunlight, and I had a variety of filters that I tried. I actually think I like the kenko filter better than this Tiffen red filter because it looks a little softer and more natural. Thanks for the tips on IR!
