    shared by buckshot on 2015-04-03

It was a horribly grey, overcast day outside, but I was determined to shoot an album, so I needed an indoor project, and hit upon the idea of placing my son's Lego minifigures, Playmobil characters and various other toys on the pages of some interior design and photo books I have at home. It was a fun way to pass the time, and I got my album...! Thanks for your visit :-)

Let's 'Cook' the Film: The Recipe of Film Soup!

Ever since the first film soup was 'served', every Lomographer has eagerly made their own recipe and review. In this article, I would like to share my experience with my own secret recipe!

Muchos Lomographeros hacen álbumes con una temática en especial. Pues en este caso, quiero poner todas las fotos que he hecho con La Sardina y no tienen una temática comparando la primera, la segunda y la tercera

I'd like to propose the terminology 'a+', meaning 'analogue plus digital enhancement'. There's a whole world of creativity to explore in the hybrid space between the two poles of the 'analogue versus digital' debate, and I think delving into that fertile territory is very much in keeping with the Lomographic spirit of experimentation and of pushing boundaries. (Obviously, though, I wouldn't enter these shots in any competition that says photos must be 'not digitally enhanced or manipulated'.)

X-pro Precisa in the fabulous Red Sea resort of El Gouna, Egypt. Shot with a homemade splitzer on my LC-Wide, but cropped out the bottom half of most shots as they were burned out.

    shared by lupideeloop on 2014-08-14

This is my last roll shooted for the subject of Photographic Technique, into the first year for the HNC of Photography in the EASD Pablo Picasso. We just used a slide film to test the crossprocess results. Unfortunately we could not find not expired chemicals and we had to ask to a local lab for the developing. I had some problems to focussing with my Jupiter 37A, it is only useful for portraits. I used as well many times one of my old Helios 44-2. Developed in Foto Artús and scanned by Magenta: http://magentaonline.es/ I have to admit that only a pair of pics are worth... You know.

I wanted to do something a little different from the regular 'Spring has sprung' album, so I used a mask taped into the back of my trusty Pentax P50 for a kind of vintage feel.
