2 months ago in Riga, capital of Latvia. After 4 full on days of workshops finally had a free day to chill at my friend's house but her dog decided to turn on me so ended up locked in the guest room until my friend cycled back from work and saved me. After that I managed to enjoy done back yard chilling and tools one pictures :))))
I was lucky enough to join Vicuna, his brother Gérard and a bunch of other wonderful people on a recent trip to Burkina Faso. This is the second album of the adventure. On our last morning we walked down one of the busy roads to end up on a bridge, which is the bottleneck of traffic for Ouagadougou. People stream down the road in incredible pace. So it's pretty hard to focus, because nobody will keep standing for your desire to take a picture. It's also a great ensemble of all things transport. From women carrying huge loads just on their heads with amazing control, to carriages with donkeys as engines. To bikes, rikschas, motorcycles and pick up-trucks with too many passengers. This place is the aorta of the capital city, it makes your heart beat just looking at it...
The lab did a pretty shitty job scanning (2 frames on 1 picture). My scanner is broken, so I had to crop the picture with GIMP. Maybe I will re-upload th original photo.
The 4th and final roll from my excursion to the small carnival on the west side of Tulsa, OKlahoma with my friend @forceusr this past weekend.
This roll was a bit over exposed but I was pretty much guessing the exposures for everything anyway. When you shoot this kind of thing, the light can be very intense or not at all so it's really hard to meter or tell what will work.

In October the warm weather and the absence of tourists gave us the possibility to enjoy the beautiful views and the history of those places.
This has become my most liked photo, thanks everyone! I can still remember the moment when I took the photo, leaning the camera on the edge of the rail for stability and hearing the satisfying second click as the shutter closed. I remember wondering if it would turn out, I didn't expect this; These are the moments that make me LOVE film.
Finally got a chance to develop some more rolls! These were taken over a year or two because it takes me forever to finish rolls in cameras sometimes. The Kandor Candid is a sardine can style 127 roll film camera from the late 40's or early 50's. This exact model was the inspiration for Lomography's La Sardina Splendor.
Oltre ad una più recente e leggera Canonet QL17 GIII possiedo anche una QL19 prima versione, piuttosto grande e pesante. Un'ottica completamente differente da quella delle QL17, che però ha il suo caratterino, e tra l'altro è contrastatissima!
