Dark ages

During an evening trip last summer, 2016, my friend and I went to an area in which heavy industry settled during the previous century. Lots of houses in and around that area were left in decay to later be covered in black dust coming from the metal industry across the street. We roamed around that metal factory only to find out it covered about 75% of the entire area. We took lots of photos and went home in complete "aw" of how massive these places can be, yet we later found out that 90% of that factory is currently inactive.
