A beautifully executed nude portrait series take center stage in today’s featured album. Please note that the photographs in this post are NSFW.

Photographing nudes is a delicate affair. It takes effort to capture a tasteful shot, one that reveres the subject it portrays; ironically, it’s fairly easy to exploit the human body and come up with tasteless output. These portraits by @jasontag clearly belong to the first group. Meanwhile, the use of black and white emulsion adds to the raw and mysterious feel of this series.

The Awesome Albums series is exactly what it says on the tin — it’s a love letter of sorts from the Editors addressed to user-uploaded albums that had caught their eye and had inadvertently fallen in love with. Please understand though, they’re really just here to express their love and nothing more.
