Golden Hour of Photography
shared by neja on 2012-01-18I have been here so many times before, but I never get tired of seeing Calatrava's creations and taking pictures of it. That was my 1st ever try of Lomography CN 800 ISO film and I couldn't be more happy with it. Since this marvelous sunset above the City of Arts and Science, shooting during the golden hour of photography became a habit.

... everywhere I look around
shared by moodification on 2011-09-09We went to a wedding of friends, Jenny and Marcel, and had a great party! The party took place in a reconstructed barn of an old farm with some authentic 'devices'. I took my Lubitel with me and just shot away as the evening went on.

shared by lazybuddha on 2011-10-04I felt like I knew her now, at least as well as one could. She was sensitive yet easy to be with, not the fickle, high maintenance girl I'd imagined. She always forgave my clumsiness. I understood that she had others, she gave her love so freely, so innocently, that I couldn't be jealous. I was happy to visit them and try and catch a glimpse of her. After all I knew, somewhere in the back of my mind, that she was as transient as life itself, and when she was gone, she would be gone forever.

shared by k_melancholy on 2011-10-18Playing around with redscale film & various exposure settings... All random shots. Some shots were okay, some were pretty bad; but it was all fun! I will definitely play around with this kind of film again in the future :)

shared by lazybuddha on 2011-10-19As the weeks went by, my love for her became an obsession, as is the nature of unrequited love. I spent every penny I had on her, trying to delay the inevitable. I had always naively believed that money couldn’t buy love and it hurt me to admit that, had I been richer she would stay with me longer. But there would come a time when even money couldn’t buy her, like a flame that burned too bright she couldn’t last. So I became an amateur meteorologist, studying the horizon like an anxious parent watching their child take their first, faltering steps, looking for cloud formations and changes in the wind, trying desperately to make the most of our time together. But the happiness I felt in her presence was now tinged with sadness as I could feel her slipping away.

Do androids dream of InfraRed sheep?
shared by lazybuddha on 2011-09-27As I spent more time with her, my love for her grew, matched only by her apathy for me. But I didn't care, she was special and she made me feel special. She was popular in a way I could never have imagined. Just walking on grass felt like being on the red carpet and people came to my home day and night. I flattered myself it was me that drew them but I knew deep down they only sought a glimpse of her. She imbued even the most mundane with a surreal beauty and I envied her...envied her and loved her.

Expired 120mm 50ISO
shared by domyblue on 2011-09-10The chinese seller on Taobao wrote that this film was not kept in the refrigerator and when he gave it a try and processed E6 was not satisfied, so he wrote that buyers that want that film may do it at their own risk. I overexpose the film and processed C41. I like it, but a bit sad for the white dots that came from the labs and not from the film. Also the last picture has problem: is totally dirty ... I don't know how to clean it ... I'm afraid to erase the photo during cleaning work ...

The water is so peaceful and the early morning mist is incomparable. [edit] I won!! 1st in the Nation!! too bad i can't compete next year but I'm glad for my first and last year, i won!
