Ein paar ältere Sachen vom Dezember 2008. Ich hatte die Kiev noch nicht so lange und musste mit den Erweiterungsringen für Makros und Portraits etwas rumspielen.

It wasn't meant to be the "creepy" theme at first, but many came out creepy from the batch, so I changed my direction and started the series of "nightmare" self portrait series.

My first roll of Sensia; loved it! Some photos were way over exposed, but that might've been my fault with the camera. In any case, I still loved the way they turned out!

    (1) Go to the 'Where is this' google map at the bottom right. (2) Drag and drop the little yellow guy at the centre of the blue circle. (3) turn your 'head' and here's the tree ! : )

Took the Nikon with my on the Mariner's Ridge hike; it was beautiful up there, as you can tell. The textures of nature are so interesting! I finished up the roll at home with my kitty and other miscellaneous objects.

I was thinkin' about the best way to express not just my idea of energy, but also my IDEAL energy. My cat, in one of its powerful expressions, suggested me that ENERGY IS IN THE NATURE, in each and every creature. We got the power.

A couple of weeks ago, I rediscovered my old Praktica Super TL1000 and remembered that I still had some macro conversion lenses that fitted its 50mm lens. So I popped a roll of Kodak Tri-X in and started shooting round the house.

Underexposed multi layered photo. I can imagine there is a true sense of wonder and isolation soaring above the clouds in a baloon looking down on Earth. There are a lot of reasons this lomograph is one of my favorites. It is my most popular lomograph. It is a double exposure and I love doubles. I also love hot air balloons and hope to one day ride in one.

Dippemess is a tradition which dates back to the 14th century. At that time, the Maamess, as it was then called, was a medieval market for domestic articles. Potters from the Westerwald, Kannebäckerland and Urberach came here to sell their wares, especially their ceramic bowls and pots. These were known in the Frankfurt dialect as 'Dippe' from which the event soon took its name. Over the years, more and more fairground booths and popular attractions joined the market as well. The Dippemess today is Frankfurt’s largest fair and a lot of fun :)
