I find the results for a cross-processed film rather unusual and particularly grainy.

    It reminds me on Autochrome Pictures, a process invented by the Lumières in early 20th century. Became quite popular for a while, but was limited to glass plates.

    The Rollei variochrome also has slight color shifts as a positive, and the effect is even greater in the cross process. However, one does not get the typical green, as with other slide films. In addition, the large grain makes it look like a photo from the beginning of the 20th century.
