Back to Basics: Film Speed
written by adam_g2000 on 2012-02-10 #gear #tutorialsGetting blurry shots when you shoot inside? Night shots all browny looking or washed out? Got no detail in clouds or snow or on beaches? Get the right film for the job.

Chinatown Self Double w/LC-Wide
shared by koduckgirl on 2012-08-22Basically I figured out by accident that if you have the bottom switch set to hf for half frame but you have the lens open all the way for full frame you get these amazing multi exposed collage shots...try it!!!

Exposing Both Sides of the Film
shared by hodachrome on 2012-06-20First trial of EBS. Shot on correct side first in a sunny/bright day, at ISO400(ISO800 film inside). Below half was masked with a splitzer. After finished a roll, reverse the film (in a dark-room). Then start shooting on redscale side in a cloudy/rainy day, at ISO200. Upper half was masked with a splitzer. The order of each location is precisely the same as 1st shots. I took notes in details about locations and shot all places with iPhone, to remember locations. It's tough challenge because I had to wait for the best weather for each shots, and had to be careful with 'gaps' between frames. This is not bad result but I found some mistakes. Have a look at my article about this technique: http://www.lomography.com/magazine/tipster/2013/01/14/tipster-how-to-take-symmetrical-images-with-exposing-both-sides-of-the-film-ebs

shared by clownshoes on 2012-07-16I'm a big fan of Cokin filters. Mostly because I was given so many and so many of their promotional booklets. They have all kinds of filters for doing multiple exposures. The one I used here is the Double Mask A 342. Two filters One with a black dot on clear resin. The other a All black filter is a little hole. In the booklets they recommend (in the 80's) you take a projector and photo graph slides you already had in order to create special effects. I just used a 32" screen.
