Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument

Located on the Pajarito Plateau, the cone-shaped tent rock formations are the results of volcanic eruptions from 6 million years ago. There are two trails, one through a slot canyon up to Veterans' Memorial Scenic Overlook, well worth the climb. And a second easy trail past a man-made cave and more tents. We did them both.
