Little World (Mars #7)

Photography wasn't easy on Mars. I could barely use a rangefinder like the Plaubel Makina, because it was hard to focus with a space helmet, if you can't put your viewfinder directly at your eye. So I barely used it in the field. If I did, it was rather a guessing game or the attempt to work with zones nonetheless...

How long are you going to be on Mars..? Looks like a crazy trip. How disciplined do you have to be, literally no outside the hut without suit and all?

hey @montagu, I have been two weeks in total in december. It was really intense, as I was filming and photographing all the time. And yes, there is a certain discipline involved. Doning and preparing in the depressurization chamber work after a regime for half an hour. If you interrupt it, because you are missing something you have to add it onto your depressurization time. Once you are out, there is no messing with your suit, as every tampering would cause immenient death...
