After shooting a film, take it into a dark room and open the film. Then sprinkle hot water filled with baking soda all around on the film, with flicking my fingers. Rewind it and put into a pan and pour water, and boiled it for about 5 minutes. Rinse and dry, and cross-deveop it. Done! This psychedelic result is not what I expected. I will cook some more anyway =)
I just love the grainy texture and I love the subtlety of tones that black and white images can have. The mood you can create, the subtleness, the shadows... I love shooting in MONO ! : )

Some very grainy and contrasty B&W photos, shot on VERY outdated (10/2006) Fuji Neopan 1600, found at a thrift shop. The box looked like it went through washing machine, 25 cents.

We have decided to do a doubles has been almost 5 months! We discussed a lot of idea at the first, finally we had consensus. The theme of my roll is ''Ira in Taipei'' and her is ''Albee in Russian'' and it's a triple! As you can see.......Ira draw a watercolor and she shoot it for the first layer. second layer is her self protrait, then II took her to travelled in Taipei in the third.. of course when we saw the results we were surprise and we all LOVE it! It was a saturday after a week of hard work and I was craving for some shutter clicks. In the evening finally the sun came out and I went to the Thyssen Krupp building once again, just because I couldn't think of another place to go and take pictures. After that we finished the roll at home in a spontaneous session of lightpainting. Felt much better afterwards ;-))
Quite late, I know! Still I wanted to post these pics I did with wolkenmaedchen for the german nikolaus rumble. Unfortunately we didn't win anything, but I like some of these shots nonetheless. Thanks again, wolkenmaedchen, for this nice film swap!
A while ago I had an idea for doubles, but the first try failed, as the first layer wasn't visible at all. Then, a few weeks ago I bought an old Minolata X300 at the second hand shop. It is my first SLR camera and I thought I should give the doubles a second try. For the first layer I shot text and pictures of '' where the wild things are'' (which is one of my favorite books & films) on a black computerscreen in a complete dark room. The second layer was shot at the beach in Scheveningen. I am really happy about the results and I hope you like them too! Thanks to @bloomchen, who answered all my questions about doubles :)
